About Us
Organized and led by Dr. Grant Thomson, his team of surgeons travels to San Pedro Sula, Honduras and performs hand surgery primarily on children.
Patients travel for miles for treatment. The trips include a complete team of professionals including surgeons, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, nurses and physical therapists. We bring many of the supplies and medicines needed for the surgery.
Locally this effort is supported by the Ruth Paz Foundation and Teleton. In the US in addition to the generous donation of time and expertise by the healthcare professionals LGH Hospital and Yale-New Haven Hospital generously support our efforts.
